William S. Fagman. M.D.

Dr. William S. Fagman, a Chicago native, attended the University of Wisconsin majoring in zoology. He graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with a doctorate of medicine. Dr. Fagman served his internship in surgery at the Evanston Hospital and then pursued a residency in ophthalmology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. During his tenure at Michael Reese he also served as the chief resident in ophthalmology. Dr. Fagman is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology. Dr. Fagman joined the staff of the Brenart Eye Clinic as ophthalmologist in 1989. In addition to his expertise in cataract and laser vision surgery, he began performing facial aesthetic procedures in 1996. Dr. Fagman serves as the medical director of Haven, Yorkville's premier Medical Spa located at the Brenart eye clinic. Dr. Fagman began using Botox when it first became available for treatment of medical conditions more than 12 years ago. In addition to Botox he has been using dermal filler injections for facial enhancement and performing facial rejuvenation including laser skin resurfacing for many years.
